Self-expression and creativity are things I value in all areas of my life. I love telling stories and expressing ideas through many forms of media as a way to create and inspire.
After high school, I trained to become a hair stylist and make-up artist through MC College. Being a stylist allowed me to indulge my passion for design and make other people ecstatic about their appearance. After a while, I decided to take my career in a different direction and move on to something new. Through a period of self-discovery and study at Mount Royal University, I found new ways to channel my passion for design.
Currently, I use skills that I have developed in the New Media Production and Design program at SAIT Polytechnic such as photography, graphic design, 3D design, video production, and many more. I will always be willing to learn more, but for now, I am ready to begin my career as a New Media designer.
For me, being a designer means being able to create and express ideas visually. I work with a variety of tools that vary from camera's and microphones to sketch pads and drawing tablets. Along with the programs highlighted above, I am also proficient in Adobe Audition, After Effects, and Autodesk 3ds Max. I am able to create clean and professional content that clients need.
